Children’s Church meets at 10am each Sunday during the Worship Experience. The children have their own prayer time, offering, music, study time, crafts and snack. The children are brought to the Worship Center in time to share the Celebration of Communion with their families.
Our Children’s Church follows main-line church children’s Sunday School curriculum. At this point in time, we have a multi-age, one classroom approach. A minimum of two adults are with the children although most of the time we have three adults in the room to assist with the various needs. Many of our teachers are skilled school teachers including several who have special education training and experience.
From time to time, the children are involved in the Worship Experience. They may assist with a special mission offering or help lead a special processional. Older children may be trained to assist with communion or with the ushers. We want the children to experience a full welcome!
Nursery is provided for pre-school age children during the Worship Experience. The Nursery is equipped with age appropriate toys, music and Bible Story resources. The babies and toddlers join the other children in coming to the Worship Center to be with their families for communion.
